Fire, water, sand and sun are the ‘elements’ which operated the first time-measuring. In front of the museum you will find a garden of sundials. Inside we show elementary watches in a unique variety. Nearly 500 wheel clocks – tower clocks, artistic clocks, pocket watches and wristwatches – show the development of this type of watches. Beside the complete, historical workshop of the family Frantz, some hundred watches, watch pieces and watchmaker’s tools are on display.
